On the following pages we examine some of the issues that have arisen from our examination of the Finalised Draft Local Plan and some of the supporting documents that were released at the same time.

We would very much welcome additional comments by others who have objected either to the first Draft Local Plan or to the finalised version.

Those who support the Local Plan, or even bits of it, are also welcome to contact us. In this first edition of the website we have concentrated on the issues that most worried or perplexed us, because Callander urgently needs to voice its concerns before it's too late. However, one of the aims of our campaign is to work for greater democracy for Callander, and that includes our website. Whether or not we agree with the Plan's supporters (and we assume that there must be some who do support it, although we've not actually come across any yet), the website is a place for the people of Callander to air their views on the Local Plan - within reason!

In the spirit of fairness we also gladly offer a right to reply to the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park Authority.
