  SCNP is the organisation, now a charity, that originally campaigned for the founding of national parks in Scotland, and which now monitors "the effectiveness of national park authority management and conservation" and continues to lobby for government support and funding for the parks.

• Friends of Callander Moraine
  FOCM is a coalition of geologists, geomorphologists, environmental scientists, geographers, conservationists, historians, bird watchers, nature lovers, ramblers and dog-walkers - most of whom live in Callander. It was set up to fight a previous planning application back in 2005/2006, which, if approved, would have resulted in the destruction by quarrying of Callander Moraine and Drumdhu Wood at Auchenlaich.
